Precision Fitness Client of the Month – Heather Francis

Heather Francis - Sep '15I would always put off getting in shape and had excuses like being too busy or too tired as to why I couldn’t exercise.  When I was younger I was naturally thin, and never had to exercise. Two pregnancies with a 60 pound weight gain each time and 14 years later, my metabolism was shot. I was at the heaviest weight I had ever been, had knee problems and was seriously out of shape. I decided it was time to do something for myself.

Precision Fitness got great reviews and had the type of personal attention I knew I needed. The hardest step was picking up the phone and calling, but I knew it had to be done.

In September 2014, I signed up for the 6:00 a.m. class because I knew that way I wouldn’t have any excuses about being too busy. Becky has been the greatest trainer. She is always positive and encouraging (even early in the morning), especially when she knows I don’t like that particular exercise. I never thought I would enjoy working out, but I look forward to going to the gym. I feel great when I know that I’ve given it my all. The fact that Dustin and Becky personalize workouts for each person means that my knees have gotten stronger, and I’ve never been injured.

I can do things that I never thought imaginable, even things I couldn’t do in the initial assessment. I have never felt judged by anyone here, which is a great thing. I’ve lost three dress sizes, gained a lot of strength, learned that I can’t out-train what I eat, and now know that weight is only a number.  How I feel and how my clothes fit is more important. I can go to the gym first thing, come home and get my kids to school, and be at work by 8:30 a.m., no excuses. The best feeling was when my teenage daughters told me how good I look and that they’re proud of me.

Thank you, Becky and Dustin for everything you’ve helped me achieve!
